All meals are served in our open-air thatched roof dining area. You have your choice of romantic dining on the lower level or family-style seating in the dining room. Our chef will delight your palate with delicious meals and tropical beverages. All of our meals are crafted with the freshest local ingredients.
In the morning coffee and tea are ready around 6:30am and are available throughout the day. Breakfast is served from 8am until 9:30am, lunch is from 1pm until 2:30pm and dinner is served at 6:30pm.
**Packed breakfast or lunch is available for excursions.
**We are able to accommodate vegetarians, vegans or other special diets.
Sample Breakfasts –
Every breakfast begins with a plate of tropical fruits, juice and coffee or tea.
Fruit Plate: Mango, papaya, sweet pineapple, banana and melon.
Banana Pancakes: Served with eggs and tomato or bacon.
Tico Breakfast: Traditional Gallo Pinto (rice mixed with black beans) served with eggs, fried plantains and slices of avocado.
Sample Lunch –
Taco Salad: Homemade tortilla chips covered with black beans, topped with green lettuce, shredded meat, pico de gallo and sliced avocado.
Casado: A Costa Rican staple: meat/chicken/fish, white rice, black beans, green salad and picadillo (a mixture of steamed local veggies).
Sample Dinners –
All dinners are served with fresh baked bread and soup or salad.
Starter: Cold zucchini cilantro soup
Main Plate: Coconut crusted mahi mahi served with thai coleslaw and rice.
Dessert: Chocolate banana cake topped with a passion fruit sauce.
Starter: Green salad with heart of palm, mango and cucumber with a guava vinaigrette.
Main Plate: Slow cooked pork roast with a tamarind glaze, served with sweet potatoes and ginger, garlic green beans.
Dessert: Mango crisp
